Cookie Policy
This site sets no cookies, uses no local or session storage, and loads no third-party scripts. §2 sets out how to verify that independently. The console at admin.thegrowthy.com is a separate application and is covered by §5.
This site sets no cookies
As of the effective date above, thegrowthy.com stores nothing on your device. No cookies, no local storage, no session storage, no device fingerprinting. There is no analytics product on this site and no advertising tag.
There is no consent banner, and its absence is a consequence of the above rather than an omission. Under the ePrivacy Directive, consent is required before storing or accessing information on a user’s device. We do neither, so there is no processing for which consent could be sought.
How to verify this independently
Open your browser’s developer tools, go to the storage or application panel, and load any page on this site. Cookies, local storage and session storage will all be empty. In the network panel you will see requests to this domain only — the typefaces are self-hosted, so there is no font CDN, and there are no third-party scripts to load.
The statement in §1 is therefore checkable rather than asserted. The same applies to our supply path: sellers.json and the supply chain carried on every bid request are published so the claim can be verified independently.
The contact form
The form on the homepage submits to our own server. It sets no cookie, before or after submission. What we do with what you send is covered in §3 of the Privacy Policy.
Server logs
Serving a page necessarily involves our CDN and hosting providers receiving your IP address and user agent, and recording them in short-lived operational logs. That is how the internet delivers a file, it is not storage on your device, and it is not something a cookie banner would ever have controlled. We use those logs to serve the site and to defend it from attack, and we do not build profiles from them.
The console at admin.thegrowthy.com
Our partner and operator console is a different application on a different hostname, and it is not covered by this page. It does set a session cookie, because it has to — you cannot stay logged in to an authenticated application without one. That cookie is strictly necessary within the meaning of the ePrivacy Directive, exists only for people who have an account with us, and carries no tracking function.
The exchange does not use cookies either
Advertising on publishers’ sites is often assumed to work through third-party cookies set by the exchange. Ours does not: we receive identifiers inside the bid request from the publisher and their supply-side platform, and we set nothing in your browser ourselves. What those identifiers are, and what we do with them, is §4 and §5 of the Privacy Policy.
If this changes
If we add analytics or anything else that stores information on your device, this page will describe it specifically — what is set, by whom, for what, and for how long — and a consent mechanism will be in place before the first one is set, not after. The effective date above tells you which version of this page applied when. Questions: [email protected].
